“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The company point developed for intervention ordeals a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that here makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and improve entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
