The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly.
